ET on Atari 2600 not such a bad game - if fixed
It seems the problems with the much hated Atari 2600 "classic" ET game is mostly bugs and rushed production. With some fan-based fixes, it turns into a much less buggy and frustrating game.

Doug Funnie Is Crazy
I happened to come across a blog that explains and reviews classic episodes of the first ever Nicktoon (in chronological order of airing that first saturday morning in 1991!) "Doug". The site contains some crude language just as a fair warning, but it's pretty funny.
The description of the blog says:
Devoted to exposing the truth behind the Nickelodeon show. It's a tragedy, more than a comedy.

My vintage Schwinn Le Tour (Ladies frame)
I bought this bike several years ago for $50 from a Salvation Army thrift store. It needed new tires and tubes (all rotten) and still had the original seat in good condition, but was painful (to me) to use.
I put in $50 in new tires and tubes initially and rode it quite a lot. Then I bought a rear rack and the MWave Double Day pannier bags last year and have used them extensively.
The bottle holder I've had for a good 13 years or more. It's just a cheap plastic universal one but I've had it on several bikes and even a little goped gas scooter at one time. I had it mounted lower on this bike at first, but I tend to wear jeans and the pant leg likes to catch on the holder or bottle, or both.
The mirror I bought many months back, but just now got around to installing on the bike. Maybe it'll be useful, it it doesn't end up broken last the last 2 or 3 mirrors I bought on the first or second time out in the past 14 years or so. I usually don't bother, but that one was cheap and seems fairly sturdy. We shall see.
I want to get some fenders for it eventually since it can get really rainy at times up here in the Seattle area.
